American Hippotherapy Association

Hippotherapy is a physical, occupational or speech and language therapy treatment strategy that uses equine (horses) movement. Trained therapists use hippotherapy as part of an integrated rehabilitation approach by using the movements of the horse to improve functional results for people with disabilities.
